Liverpool Biennial involve local and emerging artists and arts professionals in lots of ways - through projects like pool pool and Triangles, through our intern and volunteer programmes, our partnerships with local Universities, and through relationships with local and regional organisations. Information on these appear regularly in the opportunities section. If you're interested in this kind of activity you may also find it useful to join our Facebook group.

International 08 is an invitational exhibition and unfortunately we can't accept unsolicited submissions for this part of the festival.

If you are an artist or curator looking to participate in the festival you may want to be part of the Independents. This exhibition strand is an artist-led initiative - please visit www.independentsbiennial.org for more information, and to register your project for inclusion in their listings. Please note, Liverpool Biennial is not involved in any aspect of delivering this programme, and we cannot provide any further advice or guidance on this aspect of the festival.
