Art for Places: Sefton - Walks & Talks Programme Update

Sketch and Pedal with Environmental Artist Kerry Morrison

11th July. Start 2pm. Starting at Seaforth and Litherland Train Station, Seaforth Road, L21 and finishing at Moorfields Train Station. Approx 3.5hrs

Taking you from Seaforth and Litherland Train Station to Moorfields Train Station, Liverpool Biennial Residency artist Kerry will lead this ride taking you down along the canal towpath. There will be a break along the way giving the opportunity to draw alongside the artist who has adapted her bicycle to become a mobile easel. Paper, drawing materials and a picnic afternoon tea will be provided.

This ride is a collaboration between Liverpool Biennial, Merseytravel Travelwise, Cycling Solutions and the artist Kerry Morrison.

Evening Canal Wildlife Walk with NML Zoologist Tony Parker
Thursday 16th July. Starts 6.00pm from Bank Hall Station. 1 hr APPROX

Tony Parker will lead the walk, meeting at Bank Hall Station and walking up the Canal towards Seaforth and Litherland. Great opportunity to learn about the local wildlife and get some exercise after work or just enjoy an evening stroll.
